====== Mom's Apple Crisp ======
This can also be done with blueberries, blackberries, peaches, cherries, etc. 

**Preheat oven to 325˚**

**Fruit mixture:**

  * 4 cups peeled, sliced tart apples (Or other fruit. If done with blueberries, you might smush some of them to get juice. I wouldn't bother peeling peaches, but this is a matter of preference.)
  * 1/2 c sugar
  * 1/2 tsp cinnamon (as always, this is OPTIONAL. Good subs include mace, ginger, nutmeg)

Mix all the ingredients, toss and place in a greased 1 1/2 qt baking dish.

**Topping (mix together):**
  * 1/3 c sifted flour
  * 2/3 c nonfat dry milk
  * 3 tblsp sugar
  * 1/4 tsp salt
  * 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  * 1 tsp cinnamon (see above)
Cut up **a stick of butter** and mix this with until crumbly. 

Sprinkle crumbs over the fruit mixture. 

Bake at 325˚ for 45 minutes.
