  * 2 oz. light rum
  * 1 oz. plus one tsp. fresh lime juice
  * ½ oz. simple syrup

In cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. 

Shake vigorously, then strain into cocktail glass.
