=== Lemon Buttermilk Sherbet ===

Ingredients:**

  * 1 1/2 cups sugar
  * 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  * 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  * 4 cups buttermilk
  * 1 Tbsp corn syrup
  * 2 Tbsp limoncello or other liquor

**Instructions:** 
Stir sugar, lemon juice and peel in medium bowl. 
Add buttermilk; stir until sugar dissolves. 
Chill until cold, about 4 hours. 
Process mixture in ice cream maker

**Variations:** can be made with other citrus, lime, orange, etc. Adjust sugar accordingly. 
Can also replace half the buttermilk with Greek yogurt, 0% or 2%
