In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the garlic until golden brown.
Add the curry paste, turmeric, and ground pork and stir-fry until the meat is cooked through.
Add the bamboo shoots, fish sauce, light soy sauce, and sugar and mix thoroughly.
At the last moment, stir in the Kaffir lime leaves, turn onto a serving dish, and serve.
