Apple Cider Glazed Salmon
INGREDIENTS:
- 1T butter, divided
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- 1/2 c cider
- 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp hot mustard
- Salmon filet
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt half the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for a minute. Add cider to the pan, stir until syrupy.
Add ginger and thyme and cook for 30 seconds longer. Pour into bowl and set aside.
Wipe out pan, add remaining butter, salt and pepper until it starts to bubble. Add salmon.
Cook about 2 minutes on each side. Drizzle the topping on the fish and continue to cook until the fish flakes.
