Shrimp Korma
shell and de-vein 2 cups of shrimp
marinate them in
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 2-3 slit green chilies
mix well and set aside
meanwhile, in a grinder make paste of
- a handful of cashew nuts
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (or tahini)
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- a big handful cilantro leaves
- probably could use a tsp of fish sauce
fry this green paste in oil, stirring for 7-10 minutes add prawn, along with the marinade and cook for 5-10 minutes
sprinkle with garam masala and serve hot.
